He started his career as a secondary School Teacher in a government Highschool for 2 years,Then joint as Lecturer in Education in the calicut university B.Ed center and worked as a Teacher Educator in the Markaz Training College, Athavanad for 9 years (an affiliated College Under Calicut University).
